Senior Software Engineer
- Prototyped and shipped a digital signature capture application that cut customer document turnaround from 3 months to 1 week. The prototype won LegalZoom's 2026 company hackathon; the product launched in a pilot set of counties and is now expanding nationally.
- Built an AI ingestion pipeline for USPTO filings that automatically classifies goods-and-services categories, eliminating 2 hours of manual review per filing on a pipeline handling up to 30,000 trademark applications annually.
- Designed and built a tax-tracking product from the ground up, owning data modeling and REST API implementation, supporting tax experts and customers through tens of thousands of business and personal filings annually.
- Designed and shipped an email delivery and tracking service processing 5,000 customer emails daily.
Aug 2020 – Jan 2022
Software Developer
- Developed and maintained a product suite spanning Windows desktop (.NET), web apps (PHP/Symfony) and an iOS point-of-sale tablet (React Native), used daily by 2,500 salons across North America.
- Integrated triPOS payment processing with Ingenico terminals across both the desktop and POS applications.
- Built CI/CD pipelines and internal DevOps tooling for repeatable deployments across all three codebases, ran organization-wide code reviews, and partnered with support to resolve customer issues within SLA.
Jul 2019 – Nov 2020
Co-Founder
- Launched the first mobile dine-in ordering platform in the DFW area, using NFC for proximity ordering and location-based triggers for automatic checkout.
- Built the customer-facing iOS app and Android app end to end, plus the Android POS app, including single sign-on, social login and payment processing.
- Built the entire backend on AWS, a serverless architecture using cloud-native APIs over NoSQL storage to handle order placement, processing and fulfillment.
- Owned product direction, design and business operations alongside engineering, keeping the platform running through COVID-era restrictions.
